  • The Job Hunt

  • Pump Up Your Resume
Creating your own resume should be enjoyable. Make sure to build up your strengths, write it specifically for the job you are seeking, and express your qualifications for that position. If your resume is well done and your experience matches what the employer is looking for, you have a good chance of making it to the next step -- the interview.
  • The Dreaded Interview
Interviewing shouldn't be a frightful experience. Relax and be confident. Make sure you're on time! Take care to act friendly and open, and dress like you're applying for the CEO's position. Research some standard interview questions and be prepared to answer them. But most importantly, be yourself. They want to hire you, not someone you are pretending to be!
  • Negotiating a Salary
It is so important to have this conversation! Make sure you are asking for enough, considering the qualifications for the job. And remember, although the flat salary is important, you should weigh the costs of things like benefits, bonus, and raises.
  • Bottom line
Do what you love and make what you deserve. Welcome to the workforce!
